Rebecca Faulkins Conaway was born and raised in Southampton County, Virginia. She attended Southampton High School, but graduated from Ballou High in Washington D. C. She started her first job as a waitress at age sixteen while still in school. After graduating from high school she became employed with the federal government as a secretary until transferring to state government where she is still employed as a Records Manager. As a career woman, she has found time to complete college course work with a major in Information Systems Technology at Paul D. Camp Community College, John Tyler Community College and James Madison University.
Her long life goal was to become a writer. She has been writing for years and has finally published her first work.
